A sterling silver men's signet ring with an oval face of deep blue enamel, engraved with the figure of Fortuna and encircled by the Latin inscription Fortuna ut Luna, Fortune like the Moon. The image recalls the iconography of ancient seals and coins, the figure of luck detailed in relief against the blue ground. Polished silver shoulders and a tapered band follow classic signet proportions. The inscription is a reminder as much as a design detail: fortune, like the moon, is always in motion.
